For General Health-Indian Traditional Remedies
ashawasan bullet About The Book :
Ayurveda subscribes to the fact that all the substances found in nature possess medicinal properties, but to put these medicines to their proper use is an art mastered by only a selected few intellectuals.
Serving in the field of medical science for several years and having tried and tested simple useful home remedies for minor ailments in various cases, I have reached a positive conclusion regarding the utility of these common yet effective medicines or readily available ‘home-remedies’.
The advent of altered lifestyle and increasing number of families splitting into small nuclear units has led to a considerable decrease in the use and know-how of traditional home remedies and medications that were used since ages. But these adverse/side-effects of medicines which constitute one of the major shortcomings of the modern system of medicine and this have effectively brought about a progressive return of awareness for these time-tested remedies. Thus, proper guidance regarding the same from a qualified and experienced “Vaidya” shall prove of immense help to the common man for the effective application of this knowledge. The Marathi edition of this book had been published with this sole responsible aim in mind.
